Deep freeze and David Bowie LPs

Today was Record Store Day, an international initiative by independent record shops to try and save these wonderful places. Being in London we thought we'd try and participate in the event as we both love record shopping. The closest shop to us was The Vinyl Factory on Chelsea's Walton Street. It's a shop which is more of an art shop which specialises in music-inspired art. It has to be said that the staff were lovely, I don't think either of us has been asked if we'd "ever been in this space before?". No matter, the conversation flowed and an Air double vinyl LP was purchased. Unfortunatley our funds didn't stretch to some of the other stuff in the shop for sale. Namely a signed copy (along with Mick Ronson's signature) of David Bowie's The Man Who Sold the World LP, yours for the princely sum of £2000. Or how about a customised by Damien Hurst Fender bass guitar used by Flea of Red Hot Chili Peppers. The price? Shall we say £50,000? Yes, really.
