Tiptoe through the tulips

A day of moving halves. We had been invited to the younger future sister-in-law's for a lovely roast beef dinner. Unfortunately the beef hadn't de-frosted fully enough for that so there was a text to say come for tea instead. In the end we were in such a rush to get over there and remember to take her birthday gifts that we forgot the flowers that were bought for her. Mind you, she's inadvertently had her revenge by forgetting to pack Rich off this evening with some home made trifle. I think that makes everyone even.
