Boys Day Doll

In the run up to Boys Day on May 5th, any Japanese families which have young boys in them traditionally display dolls like these in their honour. Sticklers for tradition, Arthur's doll came out of the closet (in the literal sense) today. Apparently, the auntie who had this made for us gave the doll maker a photograph of Arthur and asked him to create the doll in Arthur's likeness.
