break time
this cuppa took place only 12 hours after I got up and was my first break of the day. Mondays are usually very busy anyway and today was hampered by the fact that a nasty cold has take up residence in my snot-making bits and is making me feel utterly shite. I am now hoping, fingers-crossing, almost praying that it doesn't hit my lungs because I really, really can't be bothered to play that game again.
Anyway - Mr. Spitzi who has, as ever, his school holidays starting just when the children go BACK to school (clever that) was home today (I got to stay at work longer, hooray) and so he cooked tea. Which gave me some time to catch up on the kind of things that get left when I'm busy supervising homework, cleaning fridge, putting away shopping, cooking, tidying up etc etc. So, tonight I only had to do supervising homework, cleaning fridge, putting away shopping, tidying up etc etc which gave me time to throw away the massive pile of paper (all of which turned out to be unwanted) that had accumulated and to DUST. Which happens very rarely, probably about as rarely as Mr. Spitzi cooking. Anyway, everyone asked me questions and I thought my head would explode (maybe a snot explosion?) so I made a cup of tea and sat down with my book for five whole minutes. Luxury....
