Traffic

Had about a dozen calls from Pesky Princess after school today. There was a crash on the A90 and the bus couldn't get past Kinfauns, so it turned around and headed to Dundee via Fife. 2 1/2 hours later they were delivered home c/o their friends dad who picked them all up from Dundee bus station.

I had to detour via Perth, so took the opportunity to nip into the opticians and pick up my new glasses only 2 minutes before it closed. Wish i'd waited until Friday as previously planned, as one pair is fine, the other seems to have a different focus point....closer inspection shows the frame is twisted, twisting the right lens up the way...arghhh...always a problem no matter where I go. Back tomorrow to get new frame rather than them trying to twist back into shape, as I paid enough for the dammed things :(

Anyway, wanted a shot from my detour route (up via Kinnoull Hill) of the traffic. Tried to take one further along the road, but there was an absolutely rank smell at the best spot and when i looked around i spotted a dead deer decomposing. Yuck. Honestly it was the most foul smell i've ever inhaled and it knocked me for 6 (and i'm usually imune to pretty bad smells).
