Toe toe on the beach at Paekakariki

Anzac Day. We went to Paekakariki (in the land of the tiki it's another name for paradise) today for lunch.

No dawn parade (slept in instead), but did bake Anzac biscuits and contemplate the issue of war and sacrifice and victory and freedom and why we humans are still doing it.
