Collared Dove

We were wakened by torrential rain on the bedroom window. So it was a day for being indoors which was just as well as I was not in the best of health after a bad reaction to an antibiotic. Bad enough but, if the weather had been really good and I had been stuck inside , that would have been the last straw. So to add yet another cliche , every cloud has a silver lining .I wasn't missing out on anything. Just a case of a wander to the window now and again to see if we had any more garden visitors after the sparrow hawk had gone.

So I was very pleased to hear the collared doves back. First time I have managed to blip one.

Roll on tomorrow when all will be well again.
