Be careful where you lay the baby!!

I took some snaps of my cousin's baby today. This was by far not the best one but it was the one that made me laugh most when I realised about the bunny ears -I genuinely didn't notice when I plonked her in the cot :-D

I got a few nice ones but still really struggle with lighting indoors, I much prefer outdoor photography.

Any advice on lighting welcome. I have a very cheap external flash, I used a diffuser on it and aimed it to the side or above the baby as I was wary of flashing right into her eyes.I just can't seem to get really good indoor shots.

All in all a good day with only a minimal amount of broodiness ;-)
