Goals
I run with 2 running groups.
One Ilkley Harriers - a club with a running and racing heritage, with some proper quick runners on and off road - fun but proper running whatever that is.
The other Airedale Dodgers more a group of folks whose goal is to have a good time, raise money (usually for the local hospice), where encouraging each other, calculating how many buiscuits or pints of beer have been earned by calories burnt is more important than splits, training zones and heart rates.
In reality in both groups there's a bit of both of these philosphies in both groups and both are good company and places I feel at home. However the Dodgers have now got running shirts, mine delivered this week and I'm struggling with the badge logo, I love it and I'm uncomfortable with it at the same time, it's probably not just the running either(I thought I'd grown out of all that).
