Sitting on a time bomb?

I attended a meeting yesterday with this title. It made me start to wonder about all the things that this brings up:- health issues- they say that today's youth are going to have problems in the future because of the lifestyle they live, the elderly are living longer, : the debt cycle : the effects of drugs : the presence of unexploded bombs near cities which could be exploded by the effects of vibrations/ machinery. the list is endless.

The blip is from the cover of the book that I am planning to read tonight and tomorrow. Am planning a lazy Sunday, as I've been cleaning my cupboards and checking contents today. I like the simplicity of the cover, and also feel that the story could be relevant to my chosen theme of things waiting to happen.
