Great Blue Heron at Currituck

This was another hard decision for blip, I took some really nice shots this day of the Currituck Lighthouse, the Whalehead Club and surrounding park, and of the marshy area of the Pamlico Sound. This gorgeous bird was standing there fishing and posing, stayed even while we walked around him for many different angles of pictures. What an incredible place it is there...and the houses on the road to get there were immense and unreal...how many bedrooms those mansions must have!
