Deadelion

I woke up early this morning (a forthcoming day of not very nice meetings at work was on my mind) and as it was nearly not raining, I went out for a walk to get a bit of energy before starting the day. I decided against running - too early for me - so I had time to spot this spent dandelion on the verge. By the time I got home and had breakfast, there wasn't time to photograph it before work, so it's sat on my worktop til I got home - and is now looking rather wilted.

Bit like how I feel!
