Danger!

[For[url=http://www.blipfoto.com/bittersweet] Bittersweet[/url]] An interesting start to the day at work - I arrived to find that the library had been closed down due to some structural damage that had occurred overnight. I don't know if you can really see from this photo, but the end wall is making a break from the rest of the building - you can see it best up near the roof but it looks more impressive in the flesh.

A structural engineer was called and after much deliberation, it was decided that it was just the facia that was coming away, that most of the building was safe, and so we were allowed back in by mid-afternoon, although there will be limited access to some parts of it until they can make it all safe again.

The rest of the day was rather dull by comparison.
