Brief Encounter

Good day today. Solved the problem of the boy's computer (he left it behind, when I took him back to uni) - met him at St Pancras Station after work. We went to a pizza restaurant, and then a couple of beers (Guinnless) in an Irish pub. Great time.

We then did the touristy bit, taking photos of the station before he caught his train back. I do like this statue (entitled 'The Meeting Place', by artist Paul Day) underneath the station clock.

Its the first time, I've been to St Pancras since its been renovated, and I was impressed. Its something to be proud of. I would imagine that overseas visitors to London arriving here would be too. Not like Waterloo station!
