Picnic, anyone?

Who says there's a drought?

I heard on the radio tonight, that the River Pang in Berkshire was only 1.5cm deep. The man from Thames Water said that normally this time of year it should be 1.5 feet deep! What planet is he on? He should see the river here! Yesterday it was overflowing the banks downstream. The picnic tables are still all flooded. They need to pump some of this water quickly (before it disappears into the Thames!)

Oh well, I heard that it's the wrong type of rain anyway to resolve our water shortage.
