Oxfam

On fridays I volunteer at my local Oxfam shop.It is really lovely (for me) there because we only sell books, music and cards. No dirty clothes to deal with, although we do take clothes in but they go into bags and then directly to the central warehouse. My section is the history section, hence the photo. This was given to me by the boss because he said that I "look like a person who would be interested in history" . I could have taken that many ways but , knowing that the person who had previously looked after the history section had left, I accepted the position with good grace. I shall get my own back one day. I do enjoy history and spend most of my oxfam time looking after the section, the rest of the time is taken up with chatting and looking for books for my book group to read.
