Today I went to Chipping Norton

Maureen and I paid a visit to Chipping Norton today, in the rain. We had a good look around this small town made a few purchases, had lunch and moved on. Maureen has a small shop in the village where we live and is always on the look out for bits and pieces to add to her shelves. She sells second hand books, china, glass and plants and likes to browse for interesting books about railways. We then moved on to Shipston on Stour where we browsed and chatted a little more. These little towns on the edge of the cotswolds are not as pretentious as some of the more well known one (Burford for example) and have wonderful coffee shops. We did not go into the pub in this photo but it does advertise a very well known local brewery.
