Waterfoot Sunrise

Back on the Beach

After a few days working on the shed it was back into the old routine with an early morning run to the beach and back. The wind was straight out of the North, which meant the air was cold and clear with the visibility excellent. In fact it was a great morning for a run and quite invigorating.

The light is quite different now in the morning and without the range of colours present during Winter sunrises. It might be bright with some strong colours, but there is not the same dramatic moodiness you get with rain filled clouds and the sun struggling to peep through. Its all a bit more clinical and less atmospheric, but hey its dry, bright and sunny so I am certainly not complaining.

Took a few blips and quite liked this one with the big puffy cloud and lovely ripply patterns in the sand. Had I the big camera with me I would have tried to make the Swans the feature, but the zoom is quite restricted in the new compact.

After the run I ended up going for a game of golf and playing 18 holes, so my relaxing day ended up being quite tiring, but in a very pleasant way.

Have a good weekend all.
