Ready to ride

Here she is, all cleaned up, oiled and tightened up and ready to ride. New water bottle and a pair of laminated Pedal on Parliament posters fixed to the back rack. How old is the bike I hear you ask? If you could see her up close you could read "Don't Pay The Poll Tax" in fading hand painted letters on the rear mudguard :-) Love this bike, done many thousands of happy miles on her. Hope she's not too jealous when she's joined by a brand new Cyclo Cross stable mate in the near future.

Tomorrow I'll take her down to Fife then ride across the Forth Bridge to the Meadows in Edinburgh,to rendezvous with hundreds of fellow cyclists and then we will ride en masse to Parliament on our mission to try and make Scotland a more cycle friendly nation.
