Cosy!

I really don't mean to keep going on about pheasants but, when I opened the blinds this morning this lady had already made herself very comfortable, amongst the honesty and day lilies, within two metres of my house. the rest of the party, a male and two other females were even closer.

Every day the first birds I see are pheasants! Until I was eighteen and came to Penrith I had never seen a pheasant. My landlady, while I was on Teaching Practice here, had to tell me what they were.
