Round-up (Devon Style)

Whilst out walking this afternoon we were alerted by much noise and bellowing, to these cattle being driven by four collies, working together. Their owner was following along the road in his pick up while the dogs got on with the job in hand.

Cleverly whilst they were only moving a few cattle, there were being followed by the rest of the herd. Later we drove past the spot again and some 20 cattle were now grazing contently a mile or so away on a nice area of fresh grass

Its a great pleasure to watch working dogs doing what they do best.
