Tungsten Sky
After messing around with my camera, I accidentally changed some completely random setting hidden away in the 'P' mode to mimic the effect of a tungsten light. That's why this picture and the one I took yesterday have a blue tinge to them.
This image is from the roof of City Centre. It shows the mountains that surround Muscat. They're pretty drab really and very hard to flatter with a camera. Due to the extremely high humidity at the moment, you can only ever see about 5km into the distance and the sky tends to look 'grainy' all the time. Not even ruthless Picasa editing could save these mountains.
Beautiful, they most certainly are not.
