Red Tailed Hawk

On the way to swimming lessons this morning I spotted a male pheasant in a field. Hoping for a good blip I pulled over the car and tried to take a few shots. The pheasant was very fast though and darted back into the bushes. As I was getting back into my car I spotted two hawks flying off from a tree. I tried to take a picture of one as it flew over the car but was unable. Fortunately the other one decided to stop for a second on top of a tree close to the car and take a gander at me.
