a visit from Poland

Today we had middle school students from the bilingual gimnazjum in Radom, Poland visiting our school. They arrived half an hour earlier than planned as there was no traffic at all in the morning - most offices and schools are closed today in Belgium (tomorrow is a public holiday and nearly everyone was off).

So our middle school students were hosts to approximately 30 of the Polish counter parts. They all had to introduce themselves, had a tour of the building and follow a joint lesson. So suddenly instead of having 10 students doing science, I found myself in front of a class of 25! We had a great interactive lesson, though, I really enjoyed it!

Now just hoping we can visit Radom at some point!
