De Groote Peel nature reserve

May 1st is a public holiday in Belgium, so Bert and I did a day out. We visited Helmond to view the Martin Parr exhibition (thank you Jostijn for the info!) and then had a nice walk in the nature reserve "De Groote Peel" on the border of Brabant and Limburg.

We had glorious sunshine, such a shame I can't let you hear all the birdsongs we heard!
