We're on our way home!

Just a few last words on the trip. Back home this evening after two pleasant flights with BA. Unpacked then got the battery charger onto the MX 5. Have to find the insurance cert and MOT for tomorrow to get it taxed and back on the road.

Started to churn things over between us and it's funny how we both recall a few incidents in common, but both have many memories of our own. I'm sure we will spend much of this summer reminiscing - then start planning for Africa, South America, or back to Asia or even Australasia, just for fun of course.

The BA Jumbo from Beijing had a minor non-critical failure mode ( * ), which I reported to the cabin crew. We were amply rewarded with gin and whisky, and the taking of above photo, which we think rounds off the whole experience quite nicely.
