Two Talented Daughters

Just one more picture of Grandma's treasures! Okay? I looked around and there are some very special ceramics displayed that our girls painted, fired, etc. in the mid 1970's. We had a wonderful couple in our town and the wife had a ceramics shop that she loved working with the younger set painting pretty things and getting them ready to fire. Her hubby was interested in the History of the area and had many pictures. It was a very nice afternoon for the young ones. Our girls started when they were about 10 or 11. (I should ask them so I'd know for sure when they started. The little Dutch girl was done by DSL and she also did the little wooden shoes a bit later. They were for our 15th wedding anniversary. The flowers in the pot of the Dutch girl were made by a very special Aunt about the same time. The Dwarfs are two of the 7 Annie did. She also did the Snow White. Snow White is holding up her apron and we had a bouguet made for the apron. All in all, there were a few more I could have added, but I had a hard time getting a good spot for them all, so settled on the few here. Now I shall go on to other things!! Hope you all had a great weekend.
