Flood

It's been very wild, windy and wet, and the two local rivers (the Exe and the Creedy) and their tributaries have burst their banks quite spectacularly. Then today the sun came out and everything has that beautiful rain-washed, vibrant look.
For the first time since I've lived here, the field has been planted with oil-seed rape. It looks wonderful, especially against a storm-light sky, but it's just beginning to give off that yukky smell. (C, I'm so hoping it'll have been harvested before you arrive, but am not optimistic.)
