May day May day! the rain has returned! after a 24 hour breather, the wettest drought ever has returned! meetings in Mansfield again this morning, and drove by Moorgreen Reservoir, which to me looks like it needs more rain than a hole in the head!

good meeting and then drove into the office, rain clouds all the way. afternoon of online training for me, which is something i love (!).

home, quick change, 2 x fig roll and then painting at 49 again. i rememberd Marco the joiner asking me if i wanted pre painted skirting board, and i said, 'nah, it won't take long to paint' 3 coats of undercoat later, and another 7 rooms to go......

home, tea, toast and opened up the post! (poet and don't know it!). tickets for mums 70th birthday pres have finally arrived. on 13th May, she is going to enjoy a Diamond Jubilee Pageant at Windsor Castle, in the presence of HRH. will be fab! also stopping overnight at The Waterside Inn, in Bray, with Sunday lunch in the Roux 3 star restaurant! can't wait!
