Long Weekend Sunset

It was a public holiday today - Freedom Day. South Africa has been a democracy for 18 years now. That seems such a long time. I remember going to vote in our very first elections on this day 18 years ago.

Son K left today for a rugby camp. He is very excited to get some more experience and of course to spend a weekend with his friends.

Our neighbours have complained for 2 nights now that our dogs are barking. On both occasions the security guards reported that they heard nothing at our house. It's amazing what too much alcohol does to people!
