A Birthday Rose ...

for my big sister D who turns 50 today!

Spent the morning at school finishing preparations for next week. Daughter T had an extra Maths lesson. While I was finishing up I asked her to take a photo of the roses in my office garden. After a few attempts she got this beautiful close-up!

We then drove through to Sandton and had tea with my sister, mom and my sister's friends. She chose a pretty tea garden and the weather played along by allowing us to sit outside in the sun. We had a lovely afternoon and I may even have recruited a new Blipper.

Sad news: my vet called today to tell me my little shadow, Kiara has cancer. I am devastated with the news and the thought of losing my baby.
