Green, green grass of home...

Well... not my home, but it's definitely green.
And the lawns are very grass-like.

The earliest parts of the building date from the late 1500's
And it once was a home. But not any more. Not for over a hundred years.
Although there are still lots of things going on here.

In a couple of days time, there will be a wedding.
It's not my wedding.
Although I did indeed get married here.
A while back now.

And it's a beautiful spot for the wedding photos. I can vouch for that.
Just to the left of the house there is a lake, complete with swans.

If you ask them nicely, they will pose with you for the wedding photos.
They are known to be especially keen if you happen to have a carrier bag full of sliced bread under your arm...!
