Scott Monument

Another lovely day with my parents. Lunch at Eteaket a wander through the gardens and then Mum and I braved the steps of the Scott Monument. I've lived in Edinburgh 10 years now and never been up it. I worried mum wouldn't make it but we decided she could always wait part way up for me. Part way up I worried -I- wouldn't make it to the top. We did it though, all 287 steps and a very tight squeeze out on to the top level.
