Oh to be 5 again
This photo sums M up perfectly. Battered and bruised grubby hands, all the signs of fun, yet careful and protective of her colurful yummy sweeties. She's made these last 3 days so far, studying and analysing each one before she makes her selection. Her Easter eggs lasted a good few weeks.
It was J's operation today. I felt bad about not being able to go to London with him and support him but it just wasnt feasible with the 3 girls needing picking up and dropping off at various times during the day. It's not a major op, nothings being removed and not high risk. I was pretty cool about it all until I failed to get that important call to say it had been sucessful at the time I was expecting it. Silly the things that go through your head at times like this. I remembered J telling me about the bad reaction he had at the dentist after receiving some gas while he was a kid. Silly me! All was absolutely fine, just took a bit longer to complete than was predicted. He's well and relaxed. Can't wait to get him home now.
E did superbly at horseriding afterschool. Back on Andy, the big horse, she seemed to raise her game and really focus. I was so proud as shes starting to look like a proper horsey person. I still find horses scary though, not sure that will ever change!
Got my friend coming all the way from Bristol tomorrow morning to do my wedding make up trial. Eek! Now, about that massive spot I have.... to squeeze, or not to squeeze....? :-S
