Make up Thursday.

Awesome day. Back on track and feeling more like myself. Vicki came all the way from Bristol to do my wedding make up trial. I won a Facebook competition on Xmas eve for free bridal make up on my wedding day and I couldn't have asked for anyone better than Vicki to be there on the day. She certainly knows her craft. I don't even like having my haircut usually so was expecting today to be a challenge but it was actually quite relaxing. Can't wait for the day now.

She's given me some good tips for the day too with regards to making sure they have a nice day. Something which was starting to bother me was that with all the chaos of the day they might feel left out, or worse still, get told off. Got a bit of a plan for that now.

J got back around 1pm. Great to see him home and well again. E had a little cry this evening about being worried she'll forget about his op and be too rough with him. Quite a pressure for a 7 year old and I'm wondering if I laid on the importance of being careful, too thickly.

E's after school club was cancelled which meant I had to pick her up at 3 and then walk around in the rain for an hour before getting M. We filled that time with sweets :-)

Went for a run this evening in some very flooded streets. I attempted the lake but got completely blocked in. Was quite scary when I realised I was at a dead end, surrounded by water.
