Only two tulips hanging in there as the new flowers push through.I quite liked this tulip with the drooping petal showing the intricate detail of the centre of the flower.

It was a real treat relaxing in the early afternoon sun , having lunch al fresco, blue skies. waves lapping on the shore, birds singing in the trees, such a pity there was still a lot more work waiting to be done in the afternoon.
