Laguna de Alegría

Laid at the bottom of the crater of the Volcano de Tecapa (1594 m), this green lake is said to be inhabited by wonderful sirens.
It took us quite some effort (9 hours trekking around the crater and through coffee crops, foggy forest, a military camp and slippery rocks) to go and find proofs of sirens actually living there.
