Daddy and baby

Quick entry.

Did lots of baking today. Three different flavour sourdough cakes. All before breakfast. Which was more like lunch.... everything was out of routine so eating didn't really happen particularly... but I did get to eat a few cakelets in the name of making sure the flavours were ok!

Ben declared we were on the moon and had to walk really sloooooowwwly and eat star cakes - good job I'd made some really.

Braved the supermarket in the afternoon for provisions (and had another "how much?" moment at the checkout *sigh*) but Charley had had enough by the end and cried all the way home.

Rushed dinner of cauli-pasta-cheese and straight up to bed for Charley, followed very shortly by Ben. Steve off out to the pub for church and me on the sofa with Charley-boy - I am glad I don't have a social life in the evenings at the moment. Much rather be curled up on the sofa or in bed with my baby!!
