Captured Light

OMG Sunshine - I had best capture it before it disappears above the clouds again! This is a Narcissus from my garden.

I may regret posting as early as I'm travelling across to the pretty little village of Meldon in Northumberland this afternoon for a birthday celebration. There will most likely be many blip opportunities but seeing as the weather has been so dismal of late there's no guarantee that the sun will actually stick around.

There's also going to be a Super Moon this weekend so no doubt lots of blippers will be out with their expensive telephoto zoom lenses!

Update: Since taking this shot first thing and editing it the clouds have already begun to emerge so I might not regret this after all.
