from where I am today

We have now crossed Hanover Street and Robertsons is the first bar you come to.
I have never been in this one but with the choice of whisky on offer I might decide it is worth a visit (purely on research grounds you understand!!).

I have to make a correction. I said yesterday that I thought Milnes Bar had replaced The Rose Street Brewhouse, this is not so, I passed it today and it will be blipped in a few days.

Established 1901 and still famous for its long gantry of whiskies, Robertsons 37 Bar, as it is usually known, occupies a corner position on Rose Street, a little west of its junction with Hanover Street.

Many of the fixtures and fittings date back to 1901 including the gantry. Robertsons has over 100 different single malt scotch whiskies, as well as a number of Irish and other whiskeys.
