........a busy, busy bee......

Charlotte's seat for her upcoming birthday BBQ. Hope she likes it.

Up and out early to get the bait for tomorrows fishing....half a pint of maggots and half a kilo of worms.....home....breakfast and then out to see the boys.

Shaun had just rung the fishery owner to ask how it was fishing....his advice...."Pretty good but don't fish more than 13 metres out and don't use maggots or worm, we've had an explosion of gudgeon, and you'll be plagued with small fish all day. Use sweetcorn and pellets!"

So on the way home called at the Co-op for a tin of Green Giant Salad Crisp sweetcorn...luckily I have a tub of unopened pellets. I'm still taking the maggots and worms though....tonight is supposed to be very cold and that might put the bigger fish off and small ones might save the day.

Got a new grill for the barbecue...we have a brick one......got some lump wood charcoal......and some paint and wallpaper for the Daughters bedroom...the goth red and black is going (mostly) and the room will be brighter.

First football result of three important ones came in....Chelski beat the Mickey Mousers in the FA Cup final....you all know I'm not a Chelski fan but Shaun is..... and I prefer them to the whiney Liverpool any day....tomorrow I'm a Newcastle fan until 2.00 and then I'm back to my one true love ...Utd. If the Toon can get at least a draw with the Noisy Neighbours I reckon the title is ours!....as long as we beat Swansea...and Sunderland next week.

If you can try and watch or record The Sky at Night on Sunday....late..hebs has been interviewed about her wonderful Moon shots...and she's too modest to tell you all to watch so I will!

Off for a reasonably early night...up at stupid o'clock again...the Boss is working an early shift...I've got the fishing match...then we're collecting Charlie from the wedding late afternoon and she ...and eventually the S & H and YH.... are staying over....and then it's the Bank Holiday!
