Shrivelled
I know a dead amaryllis when I see one, and I'm looking at one right now.
I think now is time to follow the care advice: After the amaryllis has stopped flowering, it can be made to flower again. Cut the old flowers from the stem after flowering, and when the stem starts to sag, cut it back to the top of the bulb. I think it has stopped flowering.
Jane has started to make bunting for Rosie's birthday having just finished a quilt for Adam's bed, she is obviously the creative part of the family.
We spent a little while in the garden today - just long enough to get cold. I can't believe the football season is nearly over and we still have the stove lit in the evenings.
Monday tomorrow - but no work. Brilliant - we going to look at a building plot near Malvern.
