Incoming rains, St. Johns in the Vale

Despite weather forecasts today suggesting really heavy rain from lunchtime onwards, we managed to miss the rain until about 2.30, and even then it seemed to largely by pass us. We had light rain for about half an hour, but then it eased off. Still pretty cool for the time of year, but at least we still had interesting skies and good recession.

We parked at St Johns church and walked down to Tewet tarn this morning, lunched at the tarn, and returned via a circular route to spend the latter part of the afternoon in the church and grounds.

A new walk for all my guests this week, including one who is here for his 20th + visit.
