Afternoon light over Clough head
Wet, wet, wet, seemed to sum up much of the day. Had a meeting with our web designers in Cockermouth this morning, then managed a walk round the town, mostly in the rain. Collected the trailer tent from the storage facility, on disconnecting it from the Defender, forgot I hadn't put the rear legs down, and pulled a tendon in my right hand trying to catch it as the front shot up in the air. Now I have three fingers on my right hand strapped together and typing's a nightmare!
About 5pm it started to clear, and I grabbed the opportunity to get this shot of the sunlit foreground tree against the dark background, with Clough head and St Johns in the Vale in the background. Not a million miles away from yesterdays blip, which again I offer my huge thanks to all who helped it get on the Spotlight page.
I'll travel further tomorrow, if I can hold my camera!
