Bank Holiday Monday

And true to form, it has been cold and windy. No rain though, well, not until around 4pm. So, after a rather nice lie in, I pottered about until Mr FS, Josie, Asha & Caitlin all went to work and then, Arwen & I decided to go out exploring with the hound.

And where do you go when it's cold & windy? The beach of course! :) We first went to Cart Gap but only stayed for an hour (you have to pay for parking there & I only had enough change for an hour) and then as we weren't quite sand-blasted and chilled, we headed to our usual beach at Waxham which was deserted :) After a couple of hours there, we headed home, and we had only been home for about 10 minutes when my friend Angie rang and said that she was on the way to Bacton Woods with Sarah (from yesterday) & her partner, would Arwen like to come along. Naturally Arwen said yes and so they spent a couple of hours there arriving home about 30-ish minutes again. She's had a bath, is now stuffing her face with dinner and will most likely be asleep as soon as her head touches the pillow tonight! Even if it doesn't happen with her, it certainly will with me :)
