Blackbird Fledgling#2

Bit of weeding the borders between showers, the blackbirds were digging in the soil everytime I turned my back :-) The chick I blipped in April (Blackbird Chick) was actually one of a pair and they have been doing very well in the corner of the garden. I think today's is one of them! The tail feathers have started to grow.

The camera I normally use is misbehaving, I missed lots of lovely shots of Mr Blackbird collecting earthworms and feeding both chicks! Also missed shot of the chicks together scratching about in the soil - very frustrating!

During last night my journal views passed the 2000 mark, thank you all very much :-)
