Caught Out

This hen- which has turned out to be another cockerel- escapes the hen run every day. I must have missed her/him when doing the last hasty wing clipping session. He's usually laughing at all the others from outside the fence ,boasting his freedom. This evening I returned from work in a fierce shower and found this guy in a frenzy trying to get back into the run where there's shelter. He was running up and down outside the fence and I blipped him from the shelter of the car. Silly bird hasn't the brains to use his wings to get back in. Bird brain?
