2nd Night of Pesach
Tonight it was just the immediate family who gathered at my in-laws house. We set the table with the best "silverware" and linen and sat down to a wonderful meal filled with many courses!
A boiled egg (symbol of hope) is dipped in salt water (symbol of the tears cried by the slaves in Egypt) and eaten during the seder. Just one of the many traditions we continue as we celebrate Pesach.
Pesach is always a long night and we still had to drive home to the dam from Sandton when we were finished. Luckily this year the holiday fell over the long weekend and we could wake-up a little later.
