Plop

Not great focus but I liked the way the water seems to have edges as it fits itself into this lupin.

Although miserable, grey, very drippy and uninspiring weather-wise today has been about improvement.

Tess has finally found her zap, zip, zizz, pizzaz, oomph, mojo, spirit and all those other things that make Tess Tess. So, although she's been home all day chatting, leaving the TV on, rabbiting, throwing things around, gas-bagging, and generally being a distracting, demanding noise-bag, I've had a day not worrying about her.

Gemma has had tinnitus in one ear for a couple of weeks (and only thought to tell us yesterday) so I spent 24 hours worrying about all the things that might be causing that. But the GP reckons it's just mucus pressure and has given her some spray.

I haven't done much that I need to do, but I did play my flute for a few minutes this morning, I feel lighter because my kids aren't causing me as much worry today, and nothing's creaking too badly in my own body or brain at the moment. Whatever happens - or doesn't! - with my OU course, there is a finish date and that's like a little light at the end of the tunnel whether it's a complete cock-up or a bit of a cock-up.
