(lady)birds do it, bees do it, even educated flees

I wasn't the only one busy in the sun at the allotment this morning...

In other news, the blackbirds brought their chicks down into the garden. Two fat, idle, fluffy things. No wonder the female has been looking so knackered. She fell asleep on the kitchen window ledge yesterday afternoon.

The weather had turned truly horrible so my attempts at shots were blurred with rain. Hope to catch a better one tomorrow.
